CSI - "Completely Stupid Individuals"

We always like when we can begin a story with the words "Here's a criminal who thought he had the perfect plan." In this case, we're referring to an alleged car buyer in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We call him an alleged buyer because within a few minutes of stepping into the local Porsche dealership, it quickly became apparent he had planned to use his five finger discount. The well-dressed customer flashed his checkbook and asked a salesman to start up the $300,000 Porsche 911 Targa 4 so he could hear the throaty roar of its engines. Then he asked to try the vehicle's standard front seat, featuring three adjustment options with memory settings. Then without warning, he smashed James Bond-style trough the dealership's glass doors and sped off into the distance. But here's his fiendish plan's one fatal flaw. Cops found the car abandoned a mile away, where it had run out of gas.
